She loved staying in touch with her family and friends through her daily telephone conversations. Davis had worked as a seamstress for Haspel’s and enjoyed crocheting and quilting. She was a member of Silver Springs Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband William Jefferson Davis brother John Lewis (Margaret) Swan sister Mary Ellen (Larry) Guchereau and sister-in-law Faye Terrell Swan. She was born in Walthall County, Mississippi to the late John S. Davis passed away Monday, Maat Billdora Senior Care Center in Tylertown, Mississippi. on Saturday, Maat Capps Funeral Home with Bro. Julia Swan Davis, 88, were held at 1:00 P.M. ![]()
